Postulator General

 

Br. Jorge Flores

The Brother Postulator General is the official in charge of the Institute's causes of beatification and canonisation. He prepares the documents dealing with these causes, and works to make known whatever could bring them to a successful conclusion.

FMSHe assures canonical and animation activity.  To do this, he is helped by vice-postulators who take charge of individual causes at the diocesan stage in the countries of those brothers in their charge.

The tasks of the Postulator are as follows:

  • Promote the causes in their Roman phase for the title of Venerable, Blessed, and Saint.
  • Maintain ties with the vice-postulators who are following the diocesan phases,
  • Maintain ties with the Congregation for the Saints and the ecclesiastical authorities and postulations from other Congregations.
  • To animate the Institute spiritually, making our models in holiness known by creating and circulating books, pictures, magazines or other documents and in animating sessions in the Provinces.
