This service includes two people: the Director of the Service and the webmaster entrusted with the website of the Institute.

The director of the Communication service decides, with the help of the Communication Committee, the information contents and their distribution. He is responsible for the conception and the realisation of the publications made by the GA. These are either regular or occasional as the publication of the Acts of the Chapter.

The principal tasks are the following:

  • To produce printed publications: FMS Echo, FMS Message and is entrusted with the technical production of the Marist Notebooks
  • To produce publications on the Internet: Update and Marist Bulletin,
  • To direct the official Internet Site of the Institute and to update it regularly,
  • To produce particular products for specific and important occasions,
  • To respond to numerous requests that arrive by e-mail,
  • To produce photographic material,
  • To contribute to other publications done by BIS, the Postulator or magazines produced by the Provinces,
  • To be in relation with the Provinces through the communication delegate.
