10 – 14 December: IV Provincial Chapter

23/10/2012: Brazil

To settle the general objective of action for the next three years (2013-2015), define priorities for action, hand over possession to the new Provincial and choose the Councillors for the direction of the Province of « Rio Grande do Sul » for the three year term, such are the functions of the 4th Provincial Chapter, to be held from 10 to 14 December 2012 in Veranópolis (RS)

Preparations for the Chapter, started some months ago, are co-ordinated by the Provincial Council and carried out under the charge of the Preparatory Commission. Co-ordinated by Br Deivis Fischer, this is composed of Brothers Vinícius Tenedini, Sandro Bobrzyk, Onorino Moresco, and lay persons Elaine Faccin and Gustavo Balbinot. A special prayer has been chosen, as well as the motto, Called to take care of life, and the logo which will identify all the activities relating to the Chapter.

The Brothers who will take part in the Provincial Chapter with the right to vote are the members by right: the departing Provincial, the Provincial appointed for the next term and the Superior of the Marist District of Amazonia, as well as the Brothers elected. Lay persons will also be invited, representing the different Province fields of action.
