30/05/2018: General House

Brother Cyprian Bankakuu Gandeebo was appointed as the new superior of the district of West Africa on May 8 for a first three-year period.

Brother Cyprian will begin his term in August, during the district chapter.

The announcement of the new superior for the district, which depends on the province of Mediterranea, was made by Brother Juan Carlos Fuertes Marí, the provincial of Mediterranea.

In his letter to the brothers of Mediterranea and West Africa, he thanked Br Cyprian for “his generosity and availability for having accepted this service as superior of the district.”

I also appreciate the brotherhood, the leadership capacity, the determination and the closeness of Brother Francis Lukong, that these years has carried out this task in the district,” he added.

The district of West Africa is made up of Cameroon, Chad, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and Liberia. The district house is in Accra, Ghana.
