Marist Young Adult Program
 February 2013

Hello Everyone!

It seems as if everytime I turn on the news another part of the country is being blanketed with snow.  I had an opportunity to be in NJ during a recent snow storm and had the rare treat of shoveling snow.  For those of you who have to shovel regularly, I'm sure it is no treat and you are eagerly awaiting spring.

The long, snowy winter can serve as a metaphor for our Lenten journey.  Lent can seem endless with its sacrifices and extra efforts but we know there is something marvelous at the end.  This issue of our e-newsletter speaks of many opportunities to make this Lent a meaningful one.   I hope that you will be able to participant in one of our retreats or check out the suggested resources.  Other helpul hints for Lent are available through our website, facebook, twitter and our mobile app

As always if you have any thoughts or suggestions, please feel free to contact me at matt@maristyoungadult.com.
