The Marist Young Adult Program is once again offering an online Advent retreat. Each Sunday, a short video with the retreat material will be posted on YouTube. The video will consist of the Sunday gospel, a reflection prepared by a member of the Marist family, and reflection questions.

The reflection for the first week is offered by Miriam Eisenmenger, Director of School Counseling at Marist High School in Bayonne, NJ. Future reflections will be offered by Ricky Perez-Solis, a student at Texas A&M and a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Brownsville, TX; Nina Lokar, a volunteer at the Marist Brothers Center at Esopus; and Bridgette Bolduc, a teacher at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA.

On behalf of the Marist Young Adult Advisory Committee, I invite you to join us for the Advent retreat. Please feel free to use the material for your own reflection and to share the link with colleagues, students, family and friends. You can view here the video:

I hope that you will find the Marist Young Adult Program Advent Retreat to be a resource that helps you to step away from the busyness of the holiday season and to focus on the coming of Jesus into your life.

Best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving and a blessed Advent season.
