10/08/2016: Australia

August 7-14 is National Vocations Awareness Week in the Catholic Church in Australia. During this week we give thanks in a particular way for men and women who have generously responded to God’s call to live a life wholly dedicated to the service of God’s mission in the world through various ministries and charisms. The gift of our vocation as brothers continues to bear witness to what God has done and is doing in and through our Institute for nearly 200 years, as we strive to faithfully live out the spirit of St Marcellin Champagnat and the early brothers, in making Jesus Christ known and loved among the young and the least.

Vocations Resources

To celebrate Vocations Awareness week, a series of multi-media clips on the Marist Brothers have been produced for social media. We have steered away from the traditional Catholic newsprint media this year, with a view to being more strategic in connecting with the 20-40 age group that is our vocational market. You can click on the following resources which are being promoted on Facebook and Vimeo.
