Rev. Brother Provincial of the Marist Brothers and the community of St. Francis Xavier’s College, Hong Kong deeply regret to inform you of the death of Brother Pierre Bosco Wei Siao Shan, FMS who died on 15th November, 2015 in the 88th year of his age and the 67th year of his religious profession.

Your pious suffrages are requested for the eternal repose of his soul. Wake will be held on 25th Nov 2015 6:00 pm at Kowloon Funeral Parlour Funeral will be held on 26th Nov 2015 10:00 am at St. Francis Assiss’s Church

Bro. Pierre Bosco Wei Siao Shan was born in Beijing on 16/04/ 1928. He entered our Juniorate in Beijing in 1940. He became a novice at Beijing in 1947 and made his first profession on 05/081948. On 15/08/1953 he made his perpetual profession. He made his second Novitiate in 1960 at St. Paul Trois Chateaux. He also attended course of spirituality in 1973 at Rome.

He was sent to United State and studied in Marian College (1949-1952). He graduated in 1952. After that he taught in Pooi Sun English School (1952-1953) and St. Martin School (1953-1954). Then he became the master of Juniors of St. Chanel’s Juniorate (1954-1961) He taught in St. Francis Xavier’s College (1954-1962). In 1963 he became the first Principal of St. Francis Xavier’s School, Tsuen Wan and served the school until 1973. From 1973 he was assigned back to St. Francis Xavier’s College and then became its Principal in 1975. He served as Principal until retired in 1994.

He has served the congregation with various positions such as Superior of community, Master of Juniors, member of Provincial Council, Deputy Provincial and Visitor of Hong Kong.

The Lord called him to His side on 15 November 2015 in Hong Kong.
