Global Compact on Education

As Marist of Champagnat, we are committed to the Global Compact on Education promoted and launched by Pope Francis to facilitate a renewed commitment to the education of children and young people not only in the formal classroom setting, but also in the family and the community.

Marists are committed to the Global Compact on Education

Marist of Champagnat places the human person at the center, Listen the voice of children and young people, promote the full education of children and young people, acknowledges the family as the principal and essential Educating Component, Instruct and educate to struggle against the culture of indifference, engage in studies to find other ways of understanding economics, politics, growth, and progress to achieve an integral ecology, and to guard and cultivate our common home to keep it safe.

Our commitment is not limited but extended through participation in the global events that promotes the compact. We are partnering with the International Organization for Catholic Education (OIEC), the Education Commission of the Union of Superiors General (UISG/USG), and other entities of like minds.

To make it practical, the Institutes general government approved the logo of the Global Compact on Education to be adopted and use by all the organs of the Marist Mission across the globe.

We are called upon not to be left out in this important compact that falls within Marist spheres of daily life and activities.
