In his speech, Brother Provincial, Luis Enrique Rodríguez Santana, stressed the importance of the congress as a space to “grow as people” and to be “beacons of hope” in a turbulent world. “Dear young people, this congress is an opportunity to dialogue, learn from others and join forces to build a more just and humane world. Each of you has a super important role in this journey of transformation. Do not underestimate the power you have with your voice and your actions. Do not forget that we have been summoned and sent by the One who is Life. Together we can make a difference and build a future full of hope and opportunities for all. May this Marist Youth Congress be the beginning of an exciting and transformative journey. Go ahead, because the world needs your valuable contribution”, said the provincial.
During the days of the congress there were different activities such as workshops, dialogue and debate tables, a panel (The voice of Marist youth: challenges and perspectives for the future), training for teachers, small talks and recreational spaces.
