On 6 June 2013, the Marist Brothers, teachers and students of the school « Saint Marcellin Champagnat » of Bouaké commemorated the anniversary of their saint founder, Marcellin Champagnat, by celebrating a Mass of thanksgiving in his honour. The eucharistic celebration brought together the four hundred pupils of the twelve classes which make up the school. To give even more splendour to the feast of the holy founder of the Marist Brothers, a tournament was organised in the founder’s name : the « Champagnat Tournament, edition 2013 ».

In short, this day ended in a marvellous fashion with a fine success, with the blessing of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
