Agnes Reyes

Assistant Director of the  Secretariat of Laity  (2017 – 2022)

Agnes Segovia Reyes, from Philippines, is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Guidance and Counseling. She has a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies. 

Her special training include Pastoral Leadership and Management for Mission from the East Asia Pastoral Institute and Spiritual Direction and Retreat Giving from the Center of Ignatian Spirituality, Ateneo de Manila University. 

She has attended an on-line course on the Theological Dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises from the Ignatian Spirituality Center,Kansas City.

Agnes was a member of the International Commission on the preparation of the document Water From the Rock and the Commission on the Revitalization of Champagnat Movement.

She served as past member of the Extended Secretariat of Laity and Chairperson of the Asia Laity Commissión. She was a lay volunteer of the Mission Ad Gentes in 2010. In her 23 years of employment at Notre Dame of Marbel University, she worked in various capacities as Guidance Counselor, Religious Educator,  Director of Champagnat Community College, Director of funded projects, and Director of Campus Ministry, among others. 

Presently, she is the East Asia Province Coordinator of Laity Desk and she is currently involved as an anchor in the radio evangelization program of the Diocese.
