Annual Meeting of Tutti Fratelli

Seventy-two religious from twelve Congregations of Brothers met on November 23 at the General House of Lasalle Brothers to participate in the traditional annual meeting “Tutti Fratelli”. It was a day of prayer and training.

Ten brothers attended on behalf of the Marist Institute. Among them was Brother Emili Turú, who was given a recognition for his service during the last 6 years as Executive Secretary of the Union of Superiors General (USG). Brothers Lindley Sionosa and Ángel Medina, from the Brothers Today secretariat, also participated and were part of the organizing team.

Following an initial time of introductions, Br Mark Hilton of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, Sr Maria Cimperman of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (RSCJ) and Sr Patricia Murray of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Executive Secretary of UISG, shared with all present their impressions, learnings and conclusions after their recent participation in the Synod on Synodality.

“A renewed way of fostering relationships within the Church, rooted in fraternity”, was the phrase that resonated in the auditorium at the end of the meeting.

The core team of Tutti Fratelli continues to encourage all congregations of religious brothers to join this initiative, which seeks to further deepen the grace of being ALL BROTHERS.
