Annual Retreat in Nigeria was ?very unique?

A Nigerian brother affirmed that the annual retreat of the Nigeria province, which included 42 participants, was particular this year.

“It was very unique as Brothers objectively evaluated their lives, discussed their challenges and successes and charted a new path for the new canonical year,” Brother Henry Uzor told the general house press office on Sept. 2.

“Resolutions were made by individual Brothers as well as Communities on how to better live our Marist Consecrated Life,” he added.

The retreat took place at the Marist Formation Centre in the city of Orlu from Aug. 8 – 15, with the theme ‘Consolidating Community Life.’

The Spirituality and Animation Commission, which includes Brothers Chima Onwujuru, Michael Oruche, Vitus Osuji, Ifeanyi Mbaegbu, and Nicholas Obiefule, organised the encounter.
