Ano Census 2022: 2.507 Marist brothers

The Vatican requests Religious Congregations to inform it annually of the statistical data. According to the census carried out by the Statistics Office of the General House, the number of Marist Brothers up to December 31, 2022, was 2,507. Of the 2,507 brothers, 2,239 are perpetually professed and 268 are temporarily professed.

In the Marist Provinces and Districts, the number of brothers is as follows:

Southern Austral (100), East Central Africa (92), West Africa (83), América Central (79), Brasil Centro-Norte (91), Brasil Centro-Sul (75), Brasil Sul-Amazônia (100), Canada (68), Compostela (154), Cruz Del Sur (67), East Asia (81), West Central Europe (75), Ibérica (120), Hermitage (210), Madagascar (54), Asia (22), Mediterránea (148), México Central (71), México Occidental (105), Nigeria (122), Norandina (97), Santa María de los Andes (63), South Asia (51), Star of the Sea (257), United States of America (104).

As every year, the data was communicated to the Vatican on March 15.
