Br. Raymund Gallardo professes his final vows

The Marist Brothers of the East Asia Province celebrated the final profession of Br. Raymund C. Gallardo on July 10 at the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Lagao, General Santos City, Philippines. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr. Ronald Plomillo, DCM, parish priest.

Br. Ador Santiago, Provincial, received his vows on behalf of the Superior General, Br. Ernesto Sánchez Barba. The theme of the profession was taken from Psalm 145:17. “The Lord is faithful in all His ways and loving in all His deeds.”

Due to health protocols and government restrictions on big gatherings, only around sixty-five people were present including, the thirty-two Marist Brothers representing the different Marist communities in Mindanao and the islands of Jolo, Sulu where Br. Raymund is based since 2020.

Br. Raymund’s mother was present together with 7 relatives who came all the way from Sarmiento, Parang, Maguindanao to be present on this occasion.
