Called to be more
Faculty and Staff at Marist High School in Chicago recently participated in a unique retreat day focusing on this academic year’s theme of “Called to be more; more than we think we can be, more than we may want to be.”
Faculty and staff had the option of choosing from a number of on-campus and off-campus events including Pottery and Prayer; Music as Prayer; The Labyrinth as Prayer; Prayer with Tai-Chi and Yoga; Catholicism: The Revelation of God Become Man; Catholicism: Mary, the Mother of God; Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Christ’s Passion; Pilgrimage to three of Chicago’s historic Catholic churches; Faith in Action: Service at Catholic Charities Food Warehouse; Faith in Action: Service at the Portiuncula Retreat House; Faith in Action: Service at St. Margaret of Scotland School.
