Champagnat College, Guadalajara

On October 18, Champagnat Marist College, Guadalajara (Iberia Province) received recognition from the as a reference centre within the BEDA (Bilingual English Development & Assessment) program. The program is a joint project of Catholic Schools Madrid and the University of Cambridge.

More than 750 schools throughout Spain participate in the BEDA program, but only 9 of those are considered as reference centres. The term implies that these centres serve as models for those interested in implementing or improving their bilingual project.

The bilingual program was initiated almost a decade ago. Thanks to the coordinated, exhaustive and rigorous work on regulation, methodology and teaching approaches, this is the visible result that the center has received.
