Connect. Lives Change

The annual Marist Solidarity campaign is a program organized by MAPS, the International development agency of the Marist Brothers in Australia. It is an Australia wide educational campaign usually conducted during Lent in 50 Australian Marist associated schools.  This year the theme is "Connect. Lives Change".

This time we emphasise the need for connection with our international Marist Family. Marist Solidarity calls for us to connect with others who in most cases we don't actually know, and who are far outside of Australia.

The overseas communities you are connecting with via this 2013 Marist Solidarity Campaign will be given, through your generosity, the potential to take charge of their own development. This happens especially through the education initiatives that you support. There are over eighty projects across sixteen countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region that are changing lives in profound ways because Australian Marists and Marist Schools of Australia communities are choosing to connect.
