Digital culture and the use of technology in education

The Marist Union of Brasil (UMBRASIL) is promoting from 10 to 12 September, in the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), the first Marist Forum on Educational Technologies. The objective is to highlight the importance of digital culture and the didactic-pedagogic use of technology in contemporary education.

On the programme, it is important to mention the presence of the Director of Education of Google Brasil, Milton Larsen Burgese, who is giving a conference on the topic "To transform teaching and learning, by humanizing the use of technology", and of the director of learning of Apple, William Rankin, who speaks on the topic "Taking account of the architecture of learning, to foster creativity through content, context and the community".

The theme of the first edition of the Forum is "Marist Connections: (trans)form networks + connect intelligences".

In addition to the conferences, the event includes the presentation of examples from the provinces of Brasil, the colleges, the Editorial FTD and the TECPUC centre of professional formation.
