Marist schools in Portugal receive the “Seal of Protection” for children
The Portuguese National Commission for the Promotion of the Rights and Protection of Children and Young People (CNPDPCJ) awarded the Seal of Protection (“Selo Protector”) to the Marist School of Carcavelos and the Marist School of Lisbon, recognising that the Marist institutions demonstrate a preventive approach in the protection and defence of the rights of children and young people, as well as in the development of the work of associations, responding positively to the requirements.
The Seal of Protection is an innovative measure of recognition of merit in the promotion of a greater efficacy and efficiency of the Portuguese system for the protection of children and young people and rewards the work carried out in line with what is defined by the policy of the Province of Compostela for the protection of children and young people (Project CONTIGO).
