European Team of the Laity meets and schedules activities

On November 11, the European Laity Team met online. The main purpose of the meeting was to make further progress in the preparations for the second part of the webinar on synodality to be held on February 15, 2025. The excitement for the celebration of this event is a precious concretization of the motto of Marist of Europe 2024-25: COUNT ON ME. The commitment of the Marist family to the Church and how to deal with such a topic is central for them.

The participants also commented on aspects of the Vocation Ministry Congress in February, organized by the Spanish Episcopal Conference, CONFER and CEDIS, in which the whole of Marist Europe will participate.

Finally, Rita Rodrigues, member of the Extended Secretariat of Laity, presented the latest reflections of the Forum on the Lay Marist Vocation.

The European Team of the Laity has been summoned for it online meeting on February 3, and is looking forward to continuing the contact and the service of animation of the Marist laity in the coming months.
