The first FMSI Board of Directors’ meeting for 2012 was held on 20 February. Convoked by the President Michael De Waas, the full Board of Directors took part, the members of the College of Auditors, the Directors of the Rome and Geneva offices. Also present were the Secretary General, the staff of the Rome office and the Foundation’s legal consultant.
These were the items on the agenda: approval of the balance sheet and budget; report of the Secretary General on the activities of 2011 and updating on those in course; approval of internal documents of the Foundation, such as the procedures for the engaging of interns at the Geneva base and a code of ethics for FMSI personnel; raising of the grant in the ambit of the Micro-project programme; approval of criteria of eligibility of the “Participants” in the Foundation and evaluation of requests received.
