Formation Programme for the Post-Novitiate Brothers of the South American Region

The formative journey of the Post-Novitiate brothers of the South American Region began in Curitiba, Brazil on January 6, the feast of the Epiphany. This is a three-week formation course which aims to promote a more systematic accompaniment of the young brothers in formation after the novitiate.

The group is composed of twelve Brothers from the five Provinces making up the Region: Antônio Rai (Brazil Sul-Amazônia); Carlos Alexandre, Carlos Euripedes, Clebio Perreira, Danilson Silva, Leonardo Stock, Julianderson Silva, José Sotero and José Valter (Brazil Centro-Norte); Guillermo Rivera (Santa María de los Andes); Pablo Rifarachi and Victor Carrasco (Cruz del Sur).

On their journey they are accompanied by Brothers CĂ©sar (Cruz del Sur), JoĂ­lson (Brasil Centro-Norte), Otalivio (Brasil Centro-Sul) and Vitor (Brasil Centro-Norte), a team co-ordinated by Brother Alberto Aparicio, Regional Executive Director.

At different times during the journey, the young Marists will be assisted by various advisors and accompaniers, including the Provincials of the region as well as General Councillors Ă“scar MartĂ­n and Sylvain.
