International Meeting of the Marist Global Network of Schools – Day 4

One of the richest days in the development of the International Meeting of the Marist Global Network of Schools took place on December 1, since it generated important moments of exposition, exchange and understanding among the diverse realities that our global community lives.

Four Marist women shared, from different points of view, the role they have played in different contexts, united at the same time through projects that give life to innovation and the development of marginalized communities.

“Innovation is not synonymous with technology. Many times innovating has to do with connecting in a different way with the most simple and natural; it is related to the way in which we illuminate the path for transformation”, shared Prof. Michelle JordĂŁo, UMBRASIL’s Mission Area Advisor and moderator of this space, entitled, School, educational trends and homes of light.

The topics were addressed by:

  • Prof. Pam Mills: Head of Ethics and Pastoral Ministry at Sacred Heart Marist College, Johannesburg (South Africa).
  • Prof. Kate Fogarty: Principal of Marist College of the Assumption, Kilmore (Australia).
  • Prof. Michelle JordĂŁo: Advisor of the Mission Area of UMBRASIL (Brazil).
