MAPAC

Modules at various educational topics cover a major part of the academic curriculum at  MAPAC. Recently, two very important and thought provoking modules were presented within the space of two months.

One was on sports (coaching). It was fully future-oriented and indeed tiring. I believe that it refreshed each of us student brothers physically and spiritually. Very experienced and internationally – acclaimed coaches from New Zealand, Kevin Shea and Terry Horne did a tremendous job in sharing their knowledge with us. Everyone was motivated to take the challenge of engaging in many different physical activities on the field even with little rest. The morning hours were full of theory, with a short break between that and practice. The brothers invested a lot of time and energy in order to become efficient coaches in their future ministry.

The second module was on addiction. Brother Peter, our rector, had announced this module on addictions quite a long time ago. In his introductory speech he mentioned some remarkable points about Rev. Fr Peter who was the facilitator. The module took place from the 13th to the 17th of august 2012. When it ended, everyone said that it was quite helpful and very informative. This thought sums up the whole week in a nutshell.
