This is simply an outline of a reply to be sent. The text is of interest as an example of the way in which Fr. Champagnat gave his secretary the ideas to be developed in a letter, which the latter then drafted himself.

Answer the parish priest of St-Ferréol (Haute-Loire):
Impossible to give you brothers. Besides, there is absolutely no mention of your resources. We are sending you a prospectus to let you know our conditions.
