Maris Stella College celebrates centenary
Marist of Sri Lanka celebrated on June 18 the centenary of Maris Stella College, in Negombo. Marist Brothers founded the Maris Stella College in 1922, after their arrival to Sri Lanka in 1911. It was Archbishop of Colombo, Reverend Anthony Coudert, who transferred to the Marist Brothers the property to establish on it a Catholic College for boys.
