Marist Brothers of East Central Africa Renew Their Religious Vows

In an emotional ceremony held on september 1, 2024, at the Marist International Center (MIC) in Nairobi, Kenya, 68 Young Brothers renewed their religious vows. The event was attended by the brothers with perpetual vows and the formators of the center, who reaffirmed their commitment to religious life.

The Marist International Center, which serves as a post-novitiate training center for Africa and Madagascar, plays a crucial role in preparing future leaders of the Marist Congregation. Brother Mark Anokwuru, the Superior of the MIC, is a key figure at the center, and his role is essential in supporting and guiding the young brothers during their formation.

The ceremony took place in an atmosphere of deep spirituality and unity, highlighting the ongoing commitment of the young brothers to their vocation and the mission of the Marist Congregation.
