Marist Province « Brasil Centro-Sul »

Up to last August, the Marist Province of « Brasil Centro-Sul » counted 26 young Brothers in temporary profession. On 1st September of this year, six of them made their perpetual profession. In December there will be one more perpetual profession. In all, seven Brothers making a definitive commitment in the Marist Institute! It is a grace from God and a response from our Good Mother to the prayers and efforts for the promotion of vocations undertaken by the Province. This year, it counts 19 pre-postulants, 10 postulants and 5 novices.

It is customary in the Province to celebrate the ceremony of perpetual vows in the town where the Brother?s family lives. So the opportunity was taken to hold an « intensive vocations week » covering the schools and parishes of the region.

The Brothers making perpetual profession this year were:
Antônio Quintiliano da Silva and José Aderlan Brandão Nascimento, in May, in the city of São Paulo (SP) ; Valmir Nogueira da Silva, in July, in Dourados (MS); Leomar d´Ávila and Neri Depaoli, in August,in Itapejara do Oeste (PR) and Rogério Polimeni, also in August, in Londrina (PR).
