Marist School in Cotabato holds seminar on the role of parents in the cyberworld of students

Around Four Hundred Forty-Five (445) persons participated in a Marist Seminar on the Role of Parents in the Cyberworld of Students carried out  on October 16 by the Notre Dame of Cotabato (NDC) Guidance Center in coordination with the Child Protection Desk of the East Asia Province and CyberguardiansPH.

Br. Crispin P. Betita  of Marcellin Homes encouraged the full participation of all sectors in the effort of protecting children and youth from all forms of cyber threats.

Police Colonel Shiela Portento, AntiTrafficing in Persons Division Chief, PNP Women and Protection Center and Ms. Maria Concepcion Sangil of the CyberguardiansPH were the resource persons. Mrs. Remedios Ivy Bernardo presented the result of the pre-seminar survey.

Romela Sobrepeña, NDC Guidance Counselor and Mr. Michael Montsendo, the Notre Dame Child Protection Officer, acknowledged the full participation of parents and the Notre Dame of Cotabato team who worked behind the organization of the said seminar.
