Marist Spiritual Patrimony workshop in Orlu
The coordinator of the Marist Spiritual Patrimony of the Nigeria province gave a workshop to 16 first year postulants in Orlu, Nigeria, on the life of Saint Marcellin Champagnat.
Under the theme ‘The Human and Spiritual Evolution of St. Marcellin Champagnat,’ Brother Elias Iwu helped the postulants reflect on different aspects of the saint’s life on July 10.
“Champagnat was not an extraordinary human being, but he did things in an extraordinary way,” he told them.
During the seminar, a documentary was aired on Marcellin and on the activities of the Brothers and laity in the province of Nigeria.
At the end of the workshop, postulant Master Brother Chima Onwujuru and the postulants thanked him and they promised him they would remain focused on their vocation as they aspire to be a Champagnat today.
