Marist Youth Ministry

Around 200 people attended the Encounter of Animators and Advisors of Marist Youth Ministry of the Province of Brazil Sul-Amazônia in Porto Alegre on April 8 and 9.

The theme that was chosen for the meeting was: “Accompaniment in the light of God's word: where is your faith?”.

Brother Natalino de Souza, executive secretary of the Brazilian Marist Union (UMBRASIL), addressed the issue during the first day.

Using dynamics, he guided the group on how to make the accompaniment model of Jesus of Nazareth their own.

They celebrated Mass together on Saturday night.

On Sunday, Diego Farias addressed the issue of music as an educational resource.

Before the closing, the Marist Youth Encounter of the Province was launched for the year 2017, which will be held in Rio Grande.
