Marists, passionate for the mission!
The Provincial meeting of Marist directors was held at the Marist Formation Centre of Guatemala from May 1-3. The encounter included 64 laity and brothers of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.
The meeting focused on deepening “the socio-cognitive humanistic paradigm and the curricular design with the Model T and its application in the classroom.”
This was done to create a common framework on which to structure the curricular designs to facilitate a flexible and diversified curriculum project that meets the needs and demands of our educational institutions.
It was also a time to share meaningful experiences that have been developed in the area of education of the time of our centres.
The theme was chosen by the Provincial Commission of Education, who also decided to request the assistance of Brother Marino Latorre, director of the graduate school of the University of Marcelino Champagnat in Lima, Peru.
