Meeting of the Community Leaders of the District of the Pacific

The Community Leaders of the District of the Pacific met on 16 April to reflect on community life and to discuss administrative matters. Br. John Hazelman, the district leader, invited Brothers Ángel Medina and Lindley Sionosa, directors of the Secretariat of Brothers Today, to participate as well.

The first part of the meeting was a presentation on key articles of the Constitutions and Statutes dealing with community and fraternity (Articles 34 – 50) alongside some related sections of the Rule of Life. This was done by Brothers Ángel and Lindley. Afterwards, the brothers went into small groups to share reflections based on the presentation as well as their own experience as brothers and as leaders.

The second part of the meeting dealt with issues related to health, property, finances, lay Marists, and others.
