Meeting of the International Commission for the Revision of the Formation Guide
The International Commission for the Revision of the Formation Guide held its third ongoing presential meeting from the 23rd February to 2nd March 2023 at the General House, in Rome. The main points in the agenda were the completion of the elaboration of Core two of the document “Formation of the Marist Brother. Dynamic itinerary” and the elaboration of Core three “The principles of the Marist Brothers’ formation”.
The whole process was indeed a time of listening, openness, fraternal dialogue and discernment. The task that remains under way is that of the development and elaboration of the main dimensions/pillars that will be included in this document: human, spiritual, marist and missionary dimensions. This will be done by specific designated members grouped in pairs. The next face to face meeting will take place in August 2023 in Spain.
