Meeting of Vocation Animators
The Brothers Today Secretariat organized an online meeting of vocation animators last November 5, with 15 brothers and 1 lay woman in attendance, representing 9 provinces.
The meeting started with each one introducing himself/herself and where he/she was connecting from. It was followed by a prayer, using the prayer for November, prepared by the preparatory commission of the 23rd General Chapter.
The principal aim of the meeting was to have a moment of sharing experiences in the work of vocations animation. Two breakout groups were created, one for English speakers and another for Spanish speakers. In these small groups the participants were invited to share about their joys and satisfactions in the mission that they are doing, of promoting and accompanying Marist vocation.
This meeting was the last of the three online meetings of vocation animators scheduled by the Secretariat of Brothers Today this year. It is hoped that these online meetings continue because it is a way for vocation animators to listen to, learn from and support one another.
