?New Marists in Mission?
The members of four fraternities of the Champagnat Movement of the Marist Family of Puerto Rico met at the Marist College of Guaynabo in February.
The objectives of the encounter were:
- To talk among fraternities about the life and path lived in community.
- To give a testimony of the Mission Assembly of the Marist Institute.
- To make a stopover and consider future paths.
But the experiences of the Marist life that were shared, the fraternal encounters, the anecdotes and the jokes were more important than the words and the topics themselves.
“There is no doubt that we are a family, that we love each other, that more than fraternal…we are brothers and sisters,” said Br Dany on the encounter.
“There is something very powerful that unites us: the Marist vocation. And that is perceived in the environment, in the gestures and the details, in the glances and the laughter. It is perceived in the love with which one talks about previous brothers and current ones.”
