New relationship of communion

Between May 8 and 10, the Province of Brasil Sul-Amazônia promoted the first edition of its Joint Formation of Brothers and Lay Marists of Champagnat.

The event took place in Tramandaí and provided a space for the sharing of experiences and vocations of 17 participants.

The initiative is part of the preparation for the General Chapter in September and aims to foster a new relationship of communion between Brothers and Lay people, following a global movement of the Marist Institute.

“The meeting was very important to share specificities and similarities to qualify our formation, always in the light of the charism of the institution," stated the coordinator of the Marist laity, Edison de Oliveira.
