Norandina Province celebrated its annual spiritual retreat
Between July 4 and 9, the Brothers of the Norandina Province, Colombia sector, gathered to live their annual Spiritual Retreat, directed by Sister Gloria Liliana Franco Echeverri, who belongs to the Company of Mary, and currently presides the CLAR – Latin American Confederation of Religious.
The Spiritual Retreat 2022 had 3 central objectives:
- To help rediscover the charm and the invitation to live the joy of being a Marist Brother today.
- To deepen, identify and welcome the importance and centrality of prayer and interiority for our life and vocation as Brothers today.
- To live a profound experience of prayer and provincial fraternity.
“Fidelity to the end”, “Religious Life is a matter of love”, “Taking care of our option, the same of Jesus: the Kingdom”, where some phrases of Sister Gloria Liliana Franco Echeverri, Provincial Superior of the Society of Mary, who directed the retreat during these 5 days of fraternity and prayer.
Finally, Sr. Gloria shared a decalogue that Religious Life should keep in mind today.
As part of this meeting of Marist fraternity, around the celebration of the Eucharist, Brothers Cristhian Arley Sandoval Urrea and Hernán Darío Casanova Ortiz, publicly renewed their temporary religious profession the Institute.
