Beneficiaries: A total of 2,290 persons

Amount: 15,000.00€

Observations:

Two thousand two hundred and ninety (2290) students and staff of one primary school, three secondary schools and a university in South Sudan have received materials funded by “Marist Global Family Fund for Humanitarian Emergencies” (MGFFHE) to enable them fight the spread of the coronavirus in their country. These materials included temperature guns, detergents, liquid soap, bar soap, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, hand washing containers and stands, sprayers as well as a water tank (10,000 litres), a thousand gloves and 2000 thousand face masks. This support got to them through “Solidarity with South Sudan” project of the “Mission under Union of Superiors General”. Convinced that ‘together, we are making a difference’, Fr Christy John (cmf) on behalf of the beneficiaries and the Solidarity Pastoral Team of the “Solidarity with South Sudan” project heartily thanked the MGFFHE for the support which has enabled them to minister to the schools in need during these challenging times.
