Protection Policies of the Marist Solidarity Heart Inter-American Network

Members of the Working Group on Protection Policies of the Inter-American Marist Solidarity Heart Network participated, in Paraguay, at the II Latin American Congress of the Center for the Protection of Minors in Latin America and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic University, dedicated to “Effective management of the sexual abuse process through care, information and communication”. The meeting was held from March 14 to 16.

In an environment of synodality, members of the Marist Working Group from Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Mexico could learn, exchange and update on the efforts made as a Church to provide an adequate response to the sexual abuse reality.

Thanks to these spaces, such as the Global Family and the Marists of Champagnat continue to strive to make their communities safe for everyone, especially the most vulnerable children and young people.
