Province Norandina

The Meeting of Provincial Commissions of the Norandina province, in Fusagasugá, Colombia was held 25-28 February. The animation was in charge of the brothers of the Provincial Council who, in an atmosphere of reflection, fraternal dialogue and spirituality, guided the brothers and lay people participants on the subject of searching and discerning together the enlightenment of the Province, a call made by the Fifth Provincial Chapter of a pilgrimage towards the bicentennial of its founding and the Church. The developed work resulted in the provincial pastoral animation model, the strategic plan of the areas and the operational plan for 2015.

After discerning the best convenient choice for the new triennium, the Provincial Council decided to implement a model in which the various dimensions and charismatic expressions are strengthened.

This model will be developed through 6 Commissions organized as follows: Brothers Today, Marist Laity and Spirituality and Training, which will work aspects of the charismatic dimension more specifically; the commissions of Pastoral Administration, Solidarity and Mission (pastoral education and children – youth) will work on the aspects of the dimension of management.
