Province of « Brasil Centro-Sul »
More than 1,000 young people gathered on 4 and 5 May in Curitiba, to celebrate the 2nd Provincial Marist Youth Day. The event is part of the preparation the Marist youth of the Province are doing for the International Marist Youth Meeting, to be held in Rio de Janeiro from17-21 July, just before the World Youth Day (WYD) – Read about the Meeting.
The meeting lasted the entire day, 24 hours during which press conferences, theme workshops, cultural activities, and times of reflection and prayer followed one after the other.
Under the slogan : « CHANGE ! Make the difference », the 2nd Marist Day was seen by the organizers as a space for celebration, formation and display by the young people taking part.
