Provincial of South Asia

Brs. Jesudoss, Rajakumar, Saul Placious and Suresh Durai made their Final Profession during the Holy Mass on 2nd July 2011 at Periyanayagi Matha church at U.T. Malai, Trichy. This sacred event was solemnized by Most Rev. Dr. Peter Fernando, the Arch Bishop of Maduari. Br. Shanthi Liyanage, the Provincial of South Asia welcomed them to full membership of the Congregation by accepting their vows on behalf of the Superior General Brother Emili Turu. There were about 600 people participated in the Eucharistic celebration and prayed for the four Brothers. After the Holy Mass, there was a short thanksgiving ceremony in which the parents of the four Brothers were honoured with shawls. Lunch was provided for all the people who had come for the celebration. 

Our sincere thanks to Br. Emili and all the Marist Brothers and friends through out the world for your prayers and greetings for our four Brothers on the day of their final commitment. We also thank the Sisters of St.Anne's of Trichy and the Parish Priest for their support and cooperation along with our Brothers here to make this celebration a joyful, successful and memorable one. May we continue to grow in the love of God as brothers and sisters and be united to show to the world that God loves and cares for humanity.
