Restructuring in Oceania

On 15 December, the District of the Pacific was born during its first Chapter. The new district is composed of the Brothers and works which were part of the old Province of New Zealand and includes the following countries : New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa and Kiribati.

It was decided in 2010 to restructure the region of Oceania, which now takes its definitive form : the Province of Australia –inaugurated a year ago, the District of Melanesia and the District of the Pacific. Each Administrative Unit has its own major superior.

The Assembly and the new District Chapter are being held from 11 to 18 December and Brothers Emili Turú and Michael de Waas are present.

Brother David McDonald, up to now superior of the Province of New Zealand, is the first District superior.
