Seminar on Child Safeguarding

On 24 October, the Province of Nigeria had her seminar/workshop on Child Safeguarding and Inculcation of Discipline in Students. The meeting was organized by the provincial, Br. Vincent Abadom, in collaboration with Provincial elected, Br. Mark Omede, and Marist Schools Management Board.

Took part in the Seminar, Principals and Vice Principals of Marist Secondary Schools in Nigeria, Patrons, Matrons, Deans of students’ affairs, Directors of Marist Nursery and Primary schools, Headmistress, Rector of the Marist Polytechnic, Heads of social work, and Marist schools Management Board.

It aimed to inculcate and instill in those responsible for the education of children and young people the right approaches to be taken to safeguard their dignity of human person.
