The 5th “Courtyard of the Gentiles” takes up the topic of “human brotherhood”

The 5th ‘Courtyard of the Gentiles’ was held on 16 and 17 December. The event, sponsored by the Institute of Science and Faith of the Pontifical University of Paraná (PUCPR), was held online and had as its theme, “The brotherhood of humanity”.

The ‘Courtyard’ is an initiative of the Vatican Pontifical Council for Culture. In Brazil, it is jointly organised by the Institute of Science and Faith of the PUCPR and the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB).

Its aim is to promote dialogue between believers and non-believers on the most pressing issues facing humanity.

The meeting this year was attended by theologians, philosophers and representatives of various religious denominations. On the 17th, Br. George Sabé, of the ‘Blue Marists’ of Aleppo, gave a talk entitled “A lighthouse of Brotherhood”.
