The District of Canada celebrates its Jubilees of religious life

Jubilee celebrations take place in our local communities. Since the community of Mont-Champagnat in Château-Richer (Canada) gathered a large number of them, this celebration had a more solemn tone, although it was lived soberly in three stages: a time of celebration and tributes in the chapel, a time for an aperitif and some videos and finally a good festive meal.

It is good to underline all these anniversaries of 50, 60, 70 and 75 years of religious life of our valiant confreres, especially those who live in Château-Richer:

– 75th: Brothers Lorenzo Bédard and Armand Morin.

– 70th: Brothers Julien Bergeron, Réal Fournier and Louis-Joseph Parent.

– 50th: Father Michel Bouffard, S.M.

After more than a year of confinement, this celebration in 2021 took on a special meaning. It made us aware of the importance of such a gathering in order to better LIVE AS BROTHERS within the Church and in the heart of the world.
