The House of Notre-Dame de l’Hermitage inaugurates an exhibition on Brother Francisco Rivat
On August 26, 2024, during the meeting of the superiors of the communities of the Province of LâHermitage and the West Central Europe District, an exhibition on Brother Francisco Rivat was inaugurated at Notre-Dame de lâHermitage in France, the motherhouse of the Marist Institute.
The exhibition consists of eight meticulously illustrated panels that depict aspects of Brother Francisco’s life. All the works are by Brother Ăngel Ignacio MartĂnez, from Spain. An initiative of the General Postulation of the Institute, this exhibition was initially installed at the General House in Rome.
On the occasion of the bicentennial celebrations of the construction of lâHermitage, it has been temporarily moved to the house that Brother Rivat considered the âreliquary of Father Champagnatâ.
The exhibition is located in the Saint Joseph courtyard, where it can be visited by the house guests and people from the region.
